Got a scanner, got a problem

I got a scanner on ebay for $1 pickup (yes i know huge bargain).
The question i have is for the IT experts (if any).
I cant seem to find an xp driver for this (does xp accept scanners via the parallel port).
I have spent a few hrs now tearing through the web trying to find something that works.
The scanner is connected via the parallel port.
The scanner is a Teco AVEC E3 II.
