Did anyone go to this festival in their local areas? It was awesome!

Mainly went to see Beastie Boys and J5 and to a lesser extent JS-1 & Rahzel, but Rahzel blew me out of the water! I know he is good, but he is so much better in person! J5 and Beaties were awesome as well, but nowhere near as good as the Rahzel/JS-1 set!

He beatboxed covers of:
Jesus Walks
Gold Digger
Sexy Back
I'm too Sexy (after burning an old guy in the crowd looking too cool for school) :D
Dirt off your shoulder

&

Wu-Tang Clan ain't nuttin' to **** wit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was on the barricade for the entire set which went for close to 2 hours, thought my bladder was going to explode, but had to hang on!

Here are some pics!

Who is JS-1, is he a beatboxer too? man rahzel must have been amazing to be better than the beasties and J5! both those groups put on some awesome live shows. the venue looks very low key, looks like somones back yard! or was that one of the smaller stages or something?

sounds like a cool gig jase. cheers for sharing.

JZA, JS-1 is Rahzels DJ. That was the second biggest stage and it was frigiing massive! It's an Amphitheatre with about 40 levels going around 180 degrees! I have video footage when it was completely full looking around the entire venue! It would be a awesome backyard though! ;)

We went to Good Vibrations here in Sydney this past Saturday. I was hanging out for the same guys you were Jase; Beasties, J5 and Rahzel. I didn't really know anybody else, except Cut Copy but they're not so good.
Rahzel is amazing, J5's set was very tight and The Beastie Boys were cool, have been better though, Mike D's afro was massive but what about the special guest.. Snoop Dogg!! I knew there had been rumours about a special guest but wasn't expecting him. He wasn't on for long but still, it's Snoop. It was sweet. Finished off the night with some Chinese New Year partying, one of the best festivals ever.
