Good Experiences with other dealers & Collectors

I would like to start something different.
Talking about Good Dealers & Collector's.
This is a true story i was at broncos traing about 4 to 5 years ago approx 10 signed jerseys were handed to me.They were put in my bag and i walked away from my bag someone who is on this site Dave from tak35bne chased me with my bag and said hey Corey you left this behind i think you will need theses Mmmmmm 10 fully signed jersey maybe LOL.
Dave knows how i get my gear if i go into it you may not believe it but i do have good contacts in Nrl mainly,but here is a person who looked at what happened and did they right thing.I am not asking who you have done the same thing or gone 10 signed jersey i can make money out of this and it cost me nothing i just want to start something where we can talk about the good collectors and dealers.
I may get shot down in flames for this but instead of the bad why don't we put the good ones on top.

Yeah i agree tak35bne donated a slater 2005 ip when i first joined ozcard and i was wraped and another seller called Dragonfire help me out heaps in how to do threads and all the computer side of things always willing to help me out im not very smart with computers but he has helped me learn how to do things thanks to both

I love giving and helping people when I can! Man, I've been the beneficiary of so many good deeds/gestures on this site I've lost count! From basketball paraphernalia to cards and supplies wow it really is mind blowing some of the generous things members have done, from freebies thrown in with deals to stuff showing up in my letterbox!

Nick (Verse1) sent me a sick KG patch a while back, Carl (Sanctum) sent me a nice Celtics die cast car, Garth (postgsl) hooked me up with some awesome bulk toploaders supplies and great deals on PC cards, Adam (drob50) sent me some nice side PC inserts, Arthy23 sent me a sick 1/1 lump of coal, and the list goes on and on, apologise to those not mentioned but you just have to look at the member thank you sticky thread and see a fraction of what goes on in this community!
But seriously, he's not around as much anymore but Arthy gave me some great laughs and convo when I was down sometimes, he has a great sense of humour I really appreciate that more than material stuff. After all, it's supposed to be fun isn't it!? Many of us don't have local card shops any more for the social aspect of this addictive hobby so it's good to create a bit of chatter and goodwill, and show what used to go on before the Internet can sometimes be enhanced by the ability to network with hundreds or thousands of people worldwide. Ok I'm rabbling on now so have a good night! Lol

Agreed! It is not the actual item that makes your day, it is the gesture!

I too have been the recipient on some unbelievable generosity from guys on this site, and to be honest, when I get a card from someone unexpectedly, I doesn't matter what card it is, but the fact that they have taken the time to think of me and post it over! Despite the fact that I have never actually met any of these guys!! I guess this is the exact reason Mr Hoyle started the Good Deed concept!

Minh (Crackberry) has on more than one occasion, sold me a PC Card cheaper than he should to help out, and still throws in a bonus! At least I have had the pleasure of actually meeting him in person and busting some wax together! Haha

Matty83, Matty4292, Angpin, Brentus777, Tiphaine, Aussielaker, Sanctum and kiwi_in_melb are just some of the people who have sent me PC Cards and expected nothing in return. But the biggest things for me have been the friends I have made through this site and this damned hobby! Arthy, Matt (GF4L), Clay(Strop) and of course, Bainy are just the main reason I spend so much time around this place!
