Good Cheap Scanner/Printer?

So basically I'm looking for a good cheap scanner/printer.

What's good one? What do you have?

ok when lookign at scanners and printers the big thing you have to look at before buying is ink prices. eg i have this lexmark scanner/printer now and its cheaperfor me to buy a whole new printer and get two free inks thank just to buy too inks. so take that into account when buying yours mate.

also i reccommended a laser jet inks are exspensive about $150 each and u need 4 but you can print up to 1000 pages

Mine is a HP deskjet cost about $50.
Takes 2 cartridges and as GiRDS said they are more expensive to replace than the machine itself.
But it works well !!

Yep have a hp inkjet to they are cheap $50 or under and scan really well.

alternatively, you get a printer such as an epson that has CIS kits available. that saves you HEAPS of money on ink.

Get a HP Deskjet F380 all-in-one (Printer . Scanner . Copier). Takes great scans and prints good, nice and compact and sleek and nice looking.

Ive got a brother MFC - 260. Scans are awesome. ( Its a Scanner, Printer, Copier & Fax all in 1)

Go a Canon......picked up a Printer/Scanner/photocopier for about $65.

Basically they are all generally good. You can get them for $59-99.

But big down side is...... expensive to replace cartidges....much more than the rpice of the actual printer.

They are actually sold below price of production, because they know you will have to buy the consumables.

If you are going to have large volumes, then getting a laser printer and seperate scanner would probably be more worth your while.
