To help make sure that this first day of 2014 is one filled with golden opportunities, we thought we’d offer this preliminary glimpse at some of the rarest, most spectacular prime-memorabilia Rookie Cards coming to 2013-14 Gold Standard Basketball. Annually one of the hobby’s most anticipated basketball releases, this year’s Gold Standard — due out in mid February — will benefit greatly from the splendid cards you’re about to lay eyes on for the first time.
2013-14 Gold Standard’s Rookie Autographs Black (numbered to only one) and Rookie Autographs Platinum (numbered to 10) combine the aesthetic look and feel that collectors have come to appreciate from the product with prime pieces of player-worn memorabilia and on-card autographs from the top rookies of the 2013-14 season. As we speak, these cards literally are in the hands of the players on them to be signed.
The next time you see them, they’ll be autographed and on their way to becoming among the most valuable Rookie Cards of the 2013-14 season. But we think you’ll agree that they’re still worth looking at even in their unsigned state.
