Afternoon all,

Yes, I'm a basketball noob.

Yes, I have no idea about basketball cards.

But I'm going to the States in just over a month's time, and I may come across some places that sell cards. And I may want to buy.

What would be a good box (or 2, or 10 :-P ) to pick up while I'm over there?

Cheers in advance guys.

You going to NY city? Make sure you schedule a trip the NBA Store!

Apparently it is closed now and they only have a little 'pop up store' temporarily, until later this year when they open the new on near MSG

Buy the following....

Condoms, A Bagel, Pizza, a Dirty Dog from a hot dog vendor, alka seltzer for your stomach acid and at least a 7 day pass for the subway!

However if your looking for card shops, you might want to jump on the train and head to New Rochelle Mall and to to Steiners Sports HQ for some autos.... I believe they are still located there. 40 minute train ride and 10 minute walk from train. The Mall itself might have a card shop, not sure. Otherwise, let your fingers do the walking in the yellow pages and I am sure you will find some shops in NYC itself and if not, you will find some in the beautiful suburbs. (sorry shameless plug) :)

Have fun!

Cheers, thanks for the ideas mate!

No doubt I'll be smashing down the dogs like no tomorrow...

from experience, they give you really bad smelling burps, like you can smell them from a block away, make sure you take some tums or alka seltzer.... Otherwise you will sure offend whom ever you are with!
