Well, I have have had a horrid day at work and am just so over it all, along with a lot of other things. But anyway, I won't bore you all with my sad story, so here is one last final horah.

I had been working on a Secret project for a while, and in the end, it turns out that good ol Tim (The guy whom gave me the Kobe EE), had once again snared the last card I needed for the set, in the Magic Johnson. Mind you, I didn't know that some 5 months ago, until I got a surprise from Upperdeck. Whom thought it was fit to replace a card I needed for a set I was working on. So, got these:

That Glass set is beautiful! Love the autos and the Shaq patch......there is a Shaq Black patch on the bay at the moment like yours with a piece of the Finals Trophy as one of the patches....its a beauty!

Thats a beautiful set Mike and congrats. My only concern is that glass autos have already proven to fade faster than on card and sticker autos. Have you got that set out on display or away out of sunlight mate??

Thats a fair investment and something to protect.

first of all congrats on completing the glass set thats an awesome effort. The Shaq patch card is one sweet looking card. The triple patch card of D Rob, Shaq and Hakeem WOW what a great looking card (bit of a understatement really). Great mailday.

Well thats the thing, if I knew that, I would never have gone for this set. I only found out later on, about 16 cards into the chase, that the darn things fade.
Definietly not on display, this is what my websites are for. They are always in darkness, and only come out once to get scanned up into a site and then put away for good.

That's true, I shudder at the amount I have sent on Basketball cards over the 15 years of collecting.

tony - Thanks bud. Hopefully I won't be gone long. It could last a day, could last a week, could last a year, could last forever. I don't know what the future will hold. I do hope I get back into the groove of things, as this site is a fun place to be and the community as a whole is great. It really gave me a place to unwind from work and lifes hassles, and be at peace on here with such great people.

Lippo - Thanks bud. I know, hopefully I will be back sooner, rather than later. I'm sure I will miss you guys too much, and be back in due time, when I get over lifes hassles.

andrew3134 - Thanks bud. Yeah, I get told alot by my US counreparts, how much they are impressed with me being able to complete tough sets from the land down under. With shipping costs, and non "out of US" sellers, it does get awefully tough.
