I know this is mainly all about the AFL but West Adelaide won the SANFL Grand Final today breaking a 32 year drought!!

It's a great feeling when the team you support wins the premiership.

Am a centrals supporter myself, grew up in Elizabeth so still remembering the glory days that seem so long ago now.

It's also great to watch the younger players go on to bigger and better things

Ex centrals players Shannon Hurn and JAck Gunston are in the AFL GF this weekend

I love drought breakers and we have been very lucky the last 15 years:
2001-2003: Brisbane/Fitzroy Lions (Brisbanes first premiership(15yrs) and Fitzroys' first in 57 years)
2005: Sydney/South Melbourne (72 years)
2006: West Coast (12yrs)
2007: Geelong (44yrs)
2008: Hawthorn (17 yrs)
2010: Collingwood (20yrs)

2015: West Adelaide (32yrs)

You can add central districts (SANFL) to that list

2000 First flag after 39 years in the league. Then went on to play in 12 grand finals in a row winning 10

That's why Ant would be happy would half of their success for his Bloods

I'm a Glenelg supporter...........all donations and sympathies gratefully accepted! One of my best mates is a die-hard Tigers fan and seeing another Bays premiership is on his Bucket list. I encouraged him to revise his list!!

Fantastic performance by West Adelaide. Although they do play in the same colours as Essendon (boo, hiss haha), their coub song is almost identical to Hawthorn's so they had my vote yesterday!
