Go On Do a good deed.

Ok, here is my challenge to EVERY Ozcards member and to remind us what this community is really about.

Between now and March 19th (SO 2 WEEKS) you have to endeavour to give away cards to another member who would appreciate them not sell, not trade but give them away with no future consequences.

For everyone that does this, the recipient must PM me telling me who sent them the cards and that member will get one entry into my lucky draw to win something.

Who knows what. It could be a signed photo of me. It could be anything. Also if anyone wants to make a donation to the prize pool to make it more worthwhile to the winner feel free to drop me a PM.

Just remember it doesn't take much to do a good deed.

Nice challenge Billy....i have tried to do this as much as i could over the past couple of weeks....I sent some cards to a recently banned member and also to MattyJ who hasnt logged on for a couple of days....so i hope he got them

Also in light of what has gone on here in the last day or so, lets turn it around - Only give aways done in the next 2 weeks count, so if i sent you some base a month ago it doesn't count.

I know that they may not be received by the 19th, so if you can let me know that they have been sent up until the 19th that would be great.

The prize will inlude:
Game USed cards
serial numbered cards
rookie cards
jordans
whatever else I can find

It is all appreciated on your ideas bud. But I do actually have some things to send off to my mates in this family but please, I do not wish to be entered in for the draw because I am doing it to help out my fellow collectors.

just as an example of how easy this is -

I have 3 packages ready to go out tomorrow probably with close to 100 cards to player collectors and it will coast me about $6. They are much better being with those people rather than sitting in a box or in a pile at my place

Personally I agree with you and had done the 3 packages already and would have sent them anyway, but I think if I can promote a bit more of it and reignite the "family" here, i'll offer up a bit of a fun incentive.

Is it too much of an invasion of privacy to have a sticky with our addresses, so we can surprise our fellow members instead of pming for their details?

I like the idea, but I don't think having the list is going to work, maybe try PMing the person that they last did a trade with they might still have their address somewhere.
