GEMs of the NBA

Featured in today's mailday are some Gems of the NBA cards. They were produced by Bleacher/Classic with 23K gold, using the 96-97 Flair as the background, and inserting a piece of gem stone on the card and the sparkling letters of GEMS of the NBA. There are 2 versions of these cards, the normal version numbered to 1996 and a rarer sparkle version numbered to 495, like the following:

Shaq

Kobe

Garnett

Rodman

To top it off, I also got a couple of Shaq cards to fill a few holes in my PC from Shaq's earlier years.

97-98 Topps Chrome Season's Best (often confused with the 98-99 version that has the same numbering SB21)

97-98 Skybox Rock Stars Refractor, I just love the way the card is cut

96 Classic Assets $5 Phone card
