Hi my name is Dave i'm a 47 year old kid , i have been following the great game of rugby league for 37 years , i have one white eye and one red eye GO THE DRAGONS!,i started collecting footy cards in 1974 when i was 9 ,by the time i was 13 i had accumulated a whole school case full of scanlens ,but unfortunately they went up in smoke when my bedroom caught on fire due to a faulty electric blanket
then earlier this year my 5 year old son seen the select box at the news-agency so i started collecting them ever since and once again i'm hooked

Mate welcome to OCT......your little spiel sounds like deja vu to me. I'm 46 and got back into collecting as well via my 5 year old son and the Daily Telegraph cards he's now about to turn 14. Unfortunately all my early 70's cards went to the tip whilst I was living in the UK.:cry:
