Hey all, was getting itchy fingers wondering when my next box bust would be so I contacted Futera yesterday regarding their cricket release. Got the following response this morning which you might be interested in seeing...
No update on the Cricket Release yet. With the amazing response to our International Soccer Online cards which has sold out well ahead of expectations, Futera had to bring forward its release of Series 2 which had not been scheduled until 2nd half of 2010; sadly this has knocked on to our schedule for other releases planned for 2010 but they are continually being worked on.
Futera Collections are such specialised things that it is always very difficult to determine an actual release date ahead of time due to the many different elements that have to be sourced from various different countries over many months.
Just one element’s timing through the creative process could mean either a much earlier or much later date for a release – that’s why it is so difficult for us to be of much help when asked for a release date – we don’t know much ahead of time.
Sorry that we don’t have more positive news for you at the moment, but from what we can gauge if we do manage to come out with Futera Cricket this year it would likely be towards the end of the year.
