Futera Cricket 2011 - Released in second half of next year

Emailed Futera today, I think all of us knew there was a cricket series in the works but this confirms it, and a 2011 release.

Many thanks for your email.

We have already started work on a Futera Cricket Release and this is progressing, but due to the high demand for the World Football (soccer) Online collector cards and a Futera UNIQUE 2011 Soccer Collection releasing in the next week or so our schedule for the Cricket release is likely to be the 2nd part of 2011 rather than the first. However, if it can be sooner it will be as we love working with such wonderful material.

Thanks for taking the time to write to us and we'll keep you posted as and when we have any news.

Good to see they have started working on the release and we should all get behind this when it comes out. Case share anyone?!?!

Look at some Futera Unique soccer cards, this is really promising. Hopefully they muscle in on Select (all codes). Then instead of folding, Select lifts their game. I am definately in for a case share, would love to see the checklist though. Finally some good news

awesome, we knew it was coming but didnt know when. cant wait. in my eyes Futera are the leading trading card name, their responce has always been fast and very helpful and polite. Select arnt even on the same page as Futera. this cricket release will blow us cricket collectors away, just have a look at some of the world football stuff, its amazing quality thats for sure. ive actually got 2 boxes of futera to pick up from the post office today, merry x-mas to me lol.

It would be safe to assume there will be jersey/patch cards.

Some nice auto's would be fantastic....1/1's etc

Futera should do a good job, their world football releases are quiet decent.

The Topps release for next year will be a base card set with no jersey/patch or auto cards.

Sounds great, and I agree, I know I'd rather see Select forced to step it up (on all fronts) than continue to fade away. They'll have to against Futera....
