Hey guys,

I've just signed up and I'm looking to get my cards valued as I am wanting to sell them. I have complete sets from the 1993/94 Futera series all the way through to the 1999/2000 Topps series as well as numerous complete sets and individual specials and Signature cards.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jimmy.

Hi Jimmy,

Welcome to the site.

It would depend on the inserts / specials you have, particuarly the signature cards. Some signature cards & inserts are very rare & you could get some excellent prices for them. If you have the official albums, they can be worth a bit too & would add to the overall value of your sets.

The common sets themselves are relitively easy to obtain, & as such are not worth a great deal.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that mate,

I have full sets of quite a lot of the inserts. what are the official albums? I used to buy the cards by the box, straight from the packet and into the sleeves of my own album... Any idea how I could obtain the prices for any of these??? Just so I can set a reasonable reserve when selling...

This is everything that I have guys. Feel free to have a look and give me an idea on some prices. Also if anyone has any of the cards that I am missing for complete sets, please feel free to get in touch.

Hi Jimmy,

I don't know if it would be worth your while trying to complete sets in order to sell them as a full set. I personally don't think there's enough money in doing that. In my opinion your base sets are probably worth around $25 each on average, especially if you don't have the official albums for them. From your comments it does seem you didn't get any of those. They were quite rare.

So setting aside your base sets, you can start doing some research on both ebay and ozcardtrader for prices on the Insert/Limited Edition cards. For example, if you do an advanced search on ebay for completed listings of "Great Cricket Memories" or "There's No Limit", you will very quickly see how much they generally went for. Also people on this forum will have sold some and you should be able to trawl through the old posts and see what their asking price might have been.

From what I can see of your pdf, the only official "signature" card you seem to have is Seccombe. I'm afraid that's not worth too much. Probably between $10-$15.

Hope this information helps you a little. Sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear. As wookiedragon mentioned to you, the money is in some of the inserts / signatures.

Cheers,

Naz

Thanks heaps for that Naz. Gone are the days where you used to be able to buy price guides??? I have plenty more signature cards but I just have to find them :P moved a few times so they're stashed away in a box somewhere...
