Can't say I've ever heard of this redemption card. And a tall boy is too big to put in a pack of normal cards so redemption card is the only way to do it.

Also Kareem only signs Abdul Jabbar on things for the most part. All his cards and in person sigs don't include Kareem on them.

That topps sticker could of been off anything as well. Is there anyway of checking the number on the sticker to what it should be anyway?

I say its not legit based on the above info. Anyone know anything about this 'so called' redemption card?

The picture on the listing shows as you suggest - just signed with Abdul-Jabbar, and also the back of the card has a black square on it that looks like it could be an authentication hologram. I don't know if this helps or not!!

its obvious to me that abdul jabbar was signed seperately to the kareem part..
now the 'abdul jabbar' looks legit to me as his real auto..
but it seems that the kareem part was added later..

ive never seen these before so i would say its fake..
but if you gave topps the number on the hologram they should be able to say what card it has come from..

or just email them a pic to see if its real

IF its real its ok. IF not its damaged and worth less for the card itself. Its prety frowned upon to use a vintage RC to get signed and they usually don't fetch anymore and even sell for less than the equivalent card undamaged.

I doubt it he was dodgy he would give up the number and topps don't do email. I'd have to call them.

Didn't Topps have EXCH cards in a current release?

I remember reading something about Topps tall boys being issued as EXCH (or it may just be my imagination).

Although it would seem a little soon for them to have shipped out.
