Sold a Rondo Exquisite on ebay. Shipped to Macau. Threw in a couple of extra cards like I normally do because I know it takes a while to get places from Australia which I also explain in all my listings.
3 weeks to the day of sale he lodges a card not received case and wants a full refund. In the form he says "I have attempted to contact the seller" he obviously has not.
I reply to case with the usual it takes a while to get there from Australia, how can he lodge a claim in 3 weeks when you have 45 days to lodge etc etc.
That was last night. Woke up this morning, case lasted 16 hours. Close in his favour full refund provided. I've appealed on the grounds the timeframe is too short and that he lied on his case application.
I'm about to send him a message now letting him know I will expect him to resend payment when the card eventually does arrive.
Further bad news, I send him a Rondo RC AU on monday. I've got a bad feeling to expect the same thing for this one.
AUSTRALIA POST - PLEASE GET THIS ONE THERE QUICKLY.
Vented. But I don't feel better. Time for Jack Daniels me thinks ....
Have a good weekend people. I'll be here looking for well crafted sale threads with pics and cards that attract my attention
I'll top this up with the message I just sent him. Love to hear your feedback on it OCT team.
"Hello,
It seems premature to lodge a Paypal dispute with only 3 weeks elapsed. You have 45 days to lodge one and the card is coming from Australia.
In your complaint you also mentioned that you had contacted me in regards to this. You have not. I've made many purchases from around the world which have taken 5 weeks to get to me along with many sales which have taken 5 weeks to arrive.
I recently sent you a card on Monday. Rondo RC AUTO Ball card. Please allow longer than 3 weeks for this one to arrive before lodging a case. I want this to be resolved well as I have many more Rondos to put up on Ebay and I would hate to have to refuse to ship to Macau as there is another buyer there along with you who has purchased 2 of my cards as well.
Should the card you've disputed arrive soon, please get in touch with me on how you will repay my paypal or when you will be shipping the card back to me.
Same here, I have stopped selling to new buyers coming from that region as well. Just not worth the hassle. Rather sell it for a few dollars less to a reputable buyer.
That sucks mate. Hopefully you're just dealing with an impatient buyer not a dishonest one. I don't sell much, but I've got a couple of cards I'd like to list to overseas buyers but have been too worried about getting ripped off.
To continue the eBay vent I am sick and tired of sellers charging excessive postage and eBay doing nothing about it. I recently bought 9 NRL sell sheets so in effect 9 sheets of slightly thicker than A4 paper. The eBay seller charged me 11 dollars postage and on arrival, they were wrapped between cardboard in a plastic envelope with 2x60c stamps. I contacted the seller to say come on........11 bucks is a bit excessive when it cost you less then 3 dollars, his response, accept it or he would ban me and I could buy from someone else. So I complained to eBay about a possible policy violation..............their response 11 dollars is a fair price to charge.............WTF

Are you able to try for a partial refund citing postage costs? Although you've had correspondence with eBay already, chances are it'll be one of their other robots who reviews it?
Not yet Owen, I can't leave neutral or negative feedback for him till 7 days after the auction ended. I have a feeling that if I leave a neg Lance will apply to eBay to have it removed.

I have been thru 3 different eBay robots who all tell me that his postage charge of 11 dollars to send 9 sell sheets is fair according to their eBay Postage Calculator. This is one time I think the term 'muppets' applies...............lol

eBay will definitely remove a neg if you complain about the postage as they've already found that in his favour, but if you neg him for another reason, then he'll have a hard time getting it removed.
