Just noticing the amount of replies some people receive with their maildays, I notice that we get to see a 1/1 Logoman on Here it gets 14 replies after 120 lookups, but a regular mailday post can average 50-80 lookups with about 10 replies..

Do we not appreciate the good cards that we see come in, in our Aussie Card Community, or do we just not see the posts?

I look at just about all maildays but probably post on about half - do u want more posts per lookups, more posts for non logoman maildays?? What's the beef?? If u write for every mailday u can get accused of over posting...

i dunno man, personally when i see some mail i like, i congratulate the person. doesnt mean that rule has to apply to everybody, i dont have to post how kick ass the cards are, i choose to. obviously some people dont want to or feel the need to do that.

See that's my point, well not described too well. Was in a rush, just thought I'd spark some interest.

We tend only to post on stuff we like, whereas the person who gets the mail likes it. Not all members do. But we could at least congratulate them on getting the new additions?

I dunno, it's funny sometimes.

F-ck anyone who says about over-posting. There seems to be more crap-posting these days than there is about Hobby, Ball, Interesting stuff.

Someone posted a question the other week asking for input, he got about 5 responses, then there was a poll about the best couple in entertainment or something, that got about 20 replies...? Go figure.

I usually dont post on maildays because i know i wont post on all of them and dont want to look like im playing favourites

and because of me being on dialup, ones with larger scans tend to take ages to load so i get bored and open a different one...

I try to comment where I can but sometimes depends entirely on my mood. I personally try to congratulate everyone on their additions for their PC.... I think the thing with the 1/1 and logomans and stuff is usually the same peeps get them and what do you say to someone who has two or three logomans?? apart from WOW lol

I usually only post a reply to "Mail Days" when I actually look at them......I don't here here as often as I used to so I could well miss a few good ones !

So be it - I just look at what I can

MattyJ does have a good point on the time it takes to open up some maildays though.......my speed gets slowed after a certain amount of "downloads" so if the pics are big and take a while to load I don't bother.

Agree with AJ and Matty. I'm only on dialup, so any big pics I get pee'd off with because they take so long. I do try and take the time to reply to a new young member's thread and encourage them more

Personally, I'll only comment on cards that I like the look of. And I'm lazy as well. I ALWAYS look at every Mail-day thread though :tonqe:

My actions on replying to maildays are if I am into the cards that have been posted, having said that I will post to other maildays if I have a question about any of the cards, but if a person has already stated what I was going to type I willn't reply could it's just doubling up.
