glad essendon fans can say we're the last vic team to win the grand final.. and as for freo in the top 4.. arghhhhh.. what a joke haha.. how bad is the league right now?
Freo can make it to 3rd if they win ALL of thier next 3 games......with the form they are in it is VERY possible. The problem with that is that WCE are likely to finish 2nd so it would be a WCE v Freo final at Subiaco. I would rather a Non WA team have to travel to Subiaco to play in the finals......for obvious reasons
dont speak too soon reigny... still challenges ahead... but looking good so far
I remember talking smack in 1999.. came back to bite me (sorry, only example i can come up with, never really been put down unexpectedly before... 2001 i saw coming, 1996 we wheren't meant to win, 2002 -> never expected much...)
A freo 4th is ok as long as WC finish 2nd, but it looks as if % will beat them anyway.
I reckon the saints will come good again at just the right time after freo beats them this week They'll be better for the loss so to speak and pump the poor old bulldogs and lions in the final two games.

Freo are my surprise packet, I dont expect they will make the GF... but I believe they might even win their first final... which would be really cool.... i have a soft spot for Freo.... afterall they gave us Hodge for Mcpharlin and a two year loan of Croady heehee.....
haha freo.. i have a soft spot too.. they gave us lucas/lloyd/mcphee... and a great show in their 2003 finals appearance.. I can't hate them for that...
Im still not convinced there the real deal, yes they have won 6 in a row and have beaten some quality sides in their path but its preety much the same side they listed for the first half of the season and they did cop some belting's on their way. Also they are very young, and will need more experience to go further in September. Anyways, good on them for reaching the finals on only their second occasion.
whats certain though, It promises to be an entertaining and close finals series. Adelaide, West Coast, Melbourne, C-Wood, St Kilda, Sydney have all had their slumps so it will come down to home advantage and the team with the least ammount of injuries..
