ar oh... did you pay already.. contact you bank/paypal or card credit company straight away. i would contact my credit card company..
What did you win?.. Seems like quite a few people got sucked into.. cheap prices.. I had a strong feeling he was dodgy.. Just had to look at his listings for that.. No photo, no description just the title which was always mis-spelt.. and Also he had '0' feedback... that was all screaming dodge.. but ppl still bid on the cards.. i did..
I sent a question. and got a one word 'YES' Answer... how more dodgy a seller you can get.. I then sent him trick question about a goldsack rookie card.. I asked him what number out of 450 was the card stamped with.. He replyed a one word answer 242. the things is those rookies aren't stamped. So i immediately knew he was dodgy.. Pruey won something off him too. I should of probably reported him about that.. oh well looks like someone else has got clued into him... That **** really pisses me off
gee you had me worried there. i won a dale thomas rookie and paid a week ago and havent received the card. the seller only accepted bank deposit, so i was worried it was me, but not same user name
Nah didnt pay. Ebay took his item off the won list. But my fallback was gonna be paypal payment retrieval.
was just wondering about it....
so looked at the site

Not sure about that last bit...
but you still should get the bulk of the cash back if you paid.
Gotta admit though the guy did look very dodgy (with 0 feedback, no pics and **** descriptions) - but it was too hard to resist a bargain!
yer thats cool, we all got sucked into it which is funny. and nothing bad happened out of,, jsut take it as learning experience to be a bit more wary next time someone looks dodge..
i didnt know that about the buyer protection thats a lot of money.. there would be a limit on claims though.. and after all the money we fork over to ebay, i guess some of that should be like paying insurance..
Going a little of topic.. but ive just got a problem with a seller on ebay at moment.. I bought a Joel selwood rising star gold medal AFL chipz which I recieved the mail the other day and the side of envelope was sliced and all contents removed.. was not happy.. but on looking at the envelope.. and slice which was very small the only way the person would of know what it was if they seller had not used and packaging at at all and just chuck it into a envelope with out any protection, the envelope was a super thin one and can just see straight through it.Just asking for prying eyes to pilfer it.. and the slice is super small so doubt there was any packaging at all.. just enought to squeeze out a width of a chip.. so ive let him know how i feel he has failed in the regard to assuring item was packaged well enought to ensure safe delivery.. That is why you use thick card,, so ppl dont now what is it the padded bag or envelope and im ask for a replacement or money back.. I dont think he will do anything.. has anyone had a similar situation.. could some help give me some advice on what i should do??
