One week from today, Panini America’s new 2016 Flawless Soccer product will arrive in hobby shops across North America, sealed in the Flawless brand’s trademark metal briefcase packaging. To be sure, those briefcases won’t be sealed for long. Easily one of the most anticipated sports card releases of the entire year, 2016 Flawless Soccer is equipped to surpass even the most heightened expectations.

We’ve spent some time over the last several months showing you bits and pieces of the coming brilliance. But now that we’re just one week away from release, we’re about to ramp up our preview procedures here on The Knight’s Lance considerably, beginning with the simply sublime Studs insert.

To be sure, the unique match-worn cleats cards you’ll see in the gallery that follows certainly live up to the insert name by incorporating the studs from cleats worn by studs such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane and many more. Pioneering and innovative, the Studs cards are unlike just about any other you’ve ever seen.

You can see exactly what we mean amid the images below. Enjoy, and stay tuned for continued coverage of 2016 Flawless Soccer.

Looks cool and all but... How the hell is that going to fit into any regular sized one-touch?

The cards look to be either 180 or 260pt to begin with. Even a 360 pt will be too small for these studly protrusions.

Looks a bit too much IMHO.

I can't justify spending thousands on cards that look like this. The pieces stuck on look like a hack job. Really disappointed with this release so far Panini!

Yep you're spot on. just roughly cut off the bottom of the shoe and whacked in there.

The Immaculate NBA Sole of The Game cards look far superior.
