If you read The Knight’s Lance yesterday, you know by now that Panini America’s fabled Flawless brand is crossing over to the world of college sports next month with the arrival of 2017 Flawless Collegiate Football. Spoiler alert: Flawless is coming to college basketball, too — and it’s just as spectacular as you think it is. Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on November 15, 2017 Flawless Collegiate Basketball will deliver, on average, six autographs, two additional autograph or memorabilia cards, and two diamond, sapphire, ruby or emerald base or parallel cards.
2017 Flawless Collegiate Basketball will follow closely the recipe of its football counterpart (which releases on the same day), including all on-card or cut autographs, Rookie Patch Autographs featuring rare NCAA, Team Logo and Brand Logo versions, and timeless tributes to the greatest collegiate basketball legends.
Autograph inserts include the aforementioned Rookie Patch Autographs as well as Rookie Autographs, Dual Patch Autographs, Patch Autographs, Flawless Team Logo Signatures, Flawless Dual Signatures, Dual Diamond Memorabilia Autographs, Premium Ink and Flawless Team Slogan Signatures.
Additional highlights of the product are many and include . . .
- An all-jewel base set featuring Base Diamond (numbered to 20), Ruby (numbered to 15), Sapphire (numbered to 10), Emerald (numbered to five) and Oversized Diamond (1/1).
- Flawless Dual Signatures feature hard-signed college connections from yesterday and today.
- Patch Autographs includes on-card autographs from current and retired stars with premium and super-premium swatches.
- Premium Ink is hard-signed and represents a veritable “Who’s Who” of college basketball. Chase rare Emerald and Black versions (numbered to five and one, respectively).
- Celebrated college hoops powerhouses Kentucky and UCLA are featured in the Flawless Team Gems insert that features school logos with color-coordinated gemstones inserted into the design. All cards are 1/1s.
- Look for randomly inserted college-specific briefcases featuring Kentucky and UCLA.
