Flawless 2013/14 Thread

Hi all, I thought we could get this going much like the Immaculate show off thread that's been great to look through.

Any time there's a product that comes out at $3k + for a case it's a big deal.

I didn't follow the massive hits last year, I did see there was some nice value on the singles market for this stuff with the mid end guys though.

Feel free to throw down your thoughts on this stuff or a link to a big hit or even show off a card you've scored from this stuff.

The first cards have hit ebay.

I'm not really getting the horizontal cards, they just seem like they're going to get left behind.

That Richmond Auto set is not great.

I think the Team Panini set is much improved. The Patch set looks pretty classy other than the trim Patches we're seeing.

Dear Panini,
I found that last year's Flawless didn't contain enough Gary Payton autograph cards. Could you find it in your heart to release this years Flawless with 5 new sets with Gary Payton featuring in them and make atleast 4 different variations?

If I had to pick one, I'd go the Golds /10, they seem nice. Although everything is Gold these days.

Lighter? lmao, it's empty already after Immaculate/NT/Spectra. Fuggin brutal year again! Looks like I won't be buying cards for another 7 months haha.

Sick patches etc. but the pure white background don't really due it for me.

I was really pumped when I found out that there was going to be a T-Mac transitions set!

7 teams! the first spurs auto! a pistons auto to add to the incredibly scare production (combined 2 cards totally 35 copies in existance) - what could be so bad about this!?

Two Isiahs have surfaced on the Bay so far. Really disappointed in the second one in particular ... the Hall of Fame Memorabilia Ruby.

For one, the picture is one that's been used on roughly a bijillion cards Panini has produced of Isiah, except this time there's a really dark contrast effect to the photo. Secondly, it's a trim piece! I'm sick of these being passed off as "prime" or "patch". If they're going to be used at all, how about in the base version only?

I'm a fan of Flawless and was hoping for a little more out of such an expensive product. Hopefully the next ones that surface will make up for this dud.

I'm shocked, I was frustrated already that there was no Kawhi base in Immaculate.

Now I've looked at the Checklist and there's no base in this either??? Crazy stuff Panini.

I might try nab a few of the Flawless Sigs set.

They look real nice.

I also prefer the Patch set over last years, but both are epic.

Overall I still don't get the crazy high price, but there is a solid list of cards coming out of each box, you can see why it's not too bad in a hit draft, no way would I touch team breaks on this. Big money to end up with nothing.

That's a beauty of a card. I might have a go but I'd say it will go for a pretty penny, although being the /25 version it may not be too bad.
