Just a few pics for the lads that asked on big trip yesterday.
Actually got a pretty good result for a 3 hour trip with a total of 6 fish.
Unfortunatly only 1 i caught was oversize so decided to catch and release him...
Man i couldnt beleive how hard he took the bait and screammed of to the left of boat....

ta rich.... good call on the black brim...the oversize 1 was also a blackie...
Also had a great day thursday on the kneeboards and tube...
Just gotta remember to shut my mouth when going guts up

thanks benny....there boat shoes... self draining and really grippy so i stay on my feet at the boat ramp...
Nothing worse than ending up on your ass in near freezing water at 6 am

Haha....yeah knew what they were....you would think they could make them a bit more fashionable though .....suppose it doesnt matter when you are in the middle of the ocean/river :roll:

Na bas.... we decided unless we caught at least 2 oversize then its not a decent feed....ive never really understood why guys goes to all the trouble to catch them just to throw them back....
The thrill of the catch so to speak !!
The wife said i sounded like steve irwin when he took the bait .

sounds like another good trip and as long as you are catching more each go. Looks like fresh fish dinner is not too far away.

I'm GLAD you throw them back Steve ! It there is no feed in it then all you are doing is looking after the fishing community down the track - Well Done

Thanks guys.... the wifes dead keen on fishing (out again tommorrow).
Im more into the water skiing/kneeboarding/tubing....
Definatly getting value and enjoyment for our money...
