We have 16 players putting up their chosen 10 PC cards to ‘Battle’ it out with each other to see who will be the overall winner!!!
For those that haven’t followed up til now, the idea of this tournament is to show off your beloved cards and have fun doing it.
We have 16 players in 4 groups of 4 for the first round. Each player has selected 10 cards that they wish to put forward for the round. There are limitations is place to try and make it as fair as possible between mass/high end collectors and those with smaller/lower end collections. Each player could submit 10 cards in total with up to 2 of them being autos, 2 being patch/gu auto, 2 being patches and 4 being standard gu or inserts. Within this 10 cards, there is only allowed to be one 1/1 card!
Each OCT member is able to vote once only in each group and the player with the most votes from each group will progress into round 2 which will be 2 head to head polls. In the event of a draw, to make it easier on me, I will put the drawn players into a hat and randomly draw the winner. I hope it doesn’t come to this as I don’t know if I have a hat.
There are a couple of simple rules for the ‘tournament’:
1 – Please make sure to acknowledge that even though I am running this comp, the idea was as much Bainy’s (lilreddevil) as it was mine!
2 – I know it is fun, but no slander or demeaning anyone’s cards! Just remember, each person’s chosen PC is as important to them as yours is to you. In saying this, feel free to post your thoughts on what you like!!
