After 20 odd years out of collecting (how many of us have done this!), and a short stint in between; coming back was something of a shock to see how the hobby has changed. It is astonishing for me to see how much this stuff can go for, when back in the day a good players base card/insert was enough. So I decided early on to set a couple of boundary's to my collection. Basically a monthly budget and trying to collect players whose cardboard isn't too expensive. Started out with a few group breaks to ease in and picked up some Steven Adams cards (I'm a kiwi). Picked up some nice Devin Booker cards and then watched as half the Suns team fell to injury, Booker picked up minutes and his cards picked up prices (most are now to much for me but I grab the occasional bargain once in a while). I eventually settled on a few selected sets, mostly auto's and here is what 6 months of bargain hunting on US soil looks like
Getting to the pointy end of this set and picked up most of em from this forum
These in sapphire are harder to find then I expected
Love this set
A few randoms I got cheap
Steven 'squashed balls' Adams.
And probably my favorite set
Thanks for the look/read and if you have any of these sets, please hit me up.
