No other paperwork with it. I was considering trying to get in contact with Geyer, to see if he could put something together.
I will let you know if this happens.

Yep I know all about that website and it says he didn't wear no.8 till later. But I will take the word of the previous owner (being Geyer) over a website where you don't know where the facts come from, any day.

No offence but if you search youtube, you will see that Harragon either had number 12 or number 10 as his jersey's, Geyer may have made an honest mistake which would be understandable...

I'm hoping to get confirmation from him tomorrow as last time I checked (2012) he was adamant that this was the jersey given to him by chief and worn that day. Might try and get confirmation either way from Paul Harragon.

Yeah I tend to think you have issues with this jersey Stephen.

Mark Sargent always played in #8 during his time at Newcastle. Also Chief entered grade as a second rower which would put him in jersey number #11 or #12.

Will be interested to see what you can find out from Geyer.
 
All right....Sorry for all the confusion. I had all the info that you guys had in regards to the jersey, but someone was so adamant that it was Harragon's, I had to believe them. I got in contact with Geyer, and now the real story is out.
As was thought...it was Mark Sargent's, and as was stated in another message, it was from the 1989 season when he won the Rothmans Medal.

Listing has been changed to correct this.
