Well I finally got around to getting a scanner. I figured I would test it out before my travels to melb tomorrow for my training course.
Anyway the scanner is a Epson V300 photo.
One cool thing I like with this scanner is if the cards are seperated from each other and are different, it auto detects that and scans multiple files, so no need to cut up the image. My old scanner never did this so I am a bit excited about this lol.
I scanned in a few older mail day jordans to see how good the scanner is through plastic (which seems good). I will probabaly test some PSA graded cards later when they arrive.
For now enjoy these few oldskool Fleer that will go towards my sets completion mission and a few older MJ purchases.
yer I was lucky to get it, only 7 more to go till i got the full fleer thrill seekers set.
Thanks for the scanner advise thread, I couldn't find a HP instock so I went for that epson somoene else had, but newer model that they used. I think it does a good job.
Awesome Fleer cards ...I suppose the MJ's are OK as well
I need the Thrill Seeker ones as well....haven't really looked yet. Just to give people a bit of background the Thrill Seeker were 1:240 packs...so it would have meant something when you pulled one....a true "Hit".

yer 1:240 pretty good. 97-98 where 1:288, but they don't look as nice. I don't think I will be collecting 97-98 onwards except for 2007-08 and 2008-09 as I didn't collect cards in that period and resumed only recently.
ATM I want to complete my old fleer sets. Then I may try to find the whole set of 97-98.
