As all Aussies know, it can be hard to buy from the US.
I built a relationship with a US seller and he has been receiving my cards on my behalf. It has worked out really well. And I've paid well for it, up to $100.00 for one card to be readdressed. Currently he has about 20 cards, mostly 1/50 or lower.
A few weeks back I spotted a card I wanted and asked him to buy it, no budget, just buy it and I would fix him for it straight away. He said yes, just like many times before.
He also added I owed him a few dollars, $29.00, for a purchase. Knowing there were more to come I sent $50.00.
I sent a PM saying I'd sent $50 and reminded him that this card I wanted was coming up.
No reply, I sent 6 PM's in the 7 days of auction and 3 emails. The auction went, I lost the card and still no reply to PM's or emails. But he has left feedback for sales.
What do I do ?

I actual don't want my money back. I'd just like the friendship to continue.

Well hopefully there's a legitamate reason for his/her lack of communication. If they have an acc on ebay, and have been leaving feedback from there, I'd try a pm there...

hopefully he hasn't done a runner with your cards mate, have you tried asking SBF (matt) to see if he could help you out. He helps me out with a heap of US only auctions, I also have my ebay account setup with an extra address for myself delivered to Matt's. That way I can bid on US only auctions, and then I pay for them.

he made contact with me today.
He had some dramas, still sending the cards, sorry he missed the 1/1 auction.
I think he is alright, sometimes other things happen I guess.

I use www.borderlinx.com

Cost me $41 to get 16 packages sent to me today. I will have them inside a week which is grest value imo.

They are owned by DHL and there are no hidden charges of any of that stuff. I have used a couple other services and i have found these guys the best.

Sorry for the hijacked thread;)

Yeah Matt's certainly a mate worth recommending! I certainly hope something's just happened, and your buddy hasnt been able to come back to you.

Sometimes asking the seller in advance if they'll post to Aus is a good option. I had one just this week whom said they would, and even offered free postage as I said their asking price was a little too high for what it was!

GL with your buddy, hope all is good.
