I sell Michael Jordan cards on Ebay almost exclusively. One of my pet peeves is the seller or sellers that pray on unknowing collectors with fake MJ rookie cards. I think what ticks me off the most is that some poor sap will unknowingly spend a nice hunk of change on a worthless piece of cardboard. When I see one that obvious to me is a fake, I usually write him or her a gentle email addressing the obvious traits of a reproduction (the brownish tint of the word "Premier" in the logo and the bright yellow tags on the ends of the logo banner). I also touch gently on possible fraud action on the part of Ebay. All this works about 60% of the time, resulting with the auction being terminated. I just saw one this morning that I suspect a fake, and he happens to be an Aussie seller. Actually, that's his EBay ID "AUSSIE-SELLER". The auction number is 290159058488 in case anyone wants to take a peek and make a judgement on their own. Ironically, this seller has a negative feedback from a buyer of a graded MJ rookie from him that I would not have questioned. I wrote her an Email today, asking her how she determined it to be a fake.
