Fake 1986 MJ Fleer PSA 10

Straight from Blowout, this is now the second one I have seen that is well faked,

The real version cross graded from BGS 9.5 to PSA 10 by a member there a couple of years ago,

And the fake version,

I couldn't really tell the difference except the black lines are a little bit out of place.

I'm with you both, I'm collecting this set and had a hard time working out whats' what! This first one is a little easier only after seeing the real one .. The second one, well I'm lost

Its all in the text. I think the PSA official text is not a standard text that can be found in the likes of Microsoft word etc...

If I look really close, The fake text looks to be ever so slightly wider than the PSA real text.

But you'd need a real one next to it, to tell, so what do you do when one pops up on eBay?????

Alright, now I get you... fake PSA, not fake card LOL

I can see clearly that the fake one has thinner text.

I guess we need to make sure we look at the card in the slab to see if it matches the grade, instead of just believing in what it says at the top. Still, it would be hard to tell a 9 from a 10 if the main faults are on the surface.

You guys talking about the PSA text font? If so, PSA has a few different types

Take a look at the ones shown here, all different fonts?
