Facebook help?? Access Restricted (Bad IP)

Hi guys, my facebook wont let me log in from my computer, in fact, i cant access facebook at all. Firstly, ive only ever used this computer, this ISP and everything to access my facebook. I havent wrote anything remotely bad...or done anything wrong. In fact, i was online at 5pm today with no problems! It comes up with the following:

Access Restricted (Bad IP)

You are trying to access Facebook from an IP (Internet Protocol) address that has been associated with a misconfigured ISP (Internet Service Provider), abusive behavior, or is otherwise not able to access Facebook. You may request to have this block lifted from Facebook by contacting us below. Please note that we're unable to reply to every report at this time, but we may contact you for more details about the issue as we investigate the report.

Why is this coming up? has anyone ever seen this before?

I dont know alot about computers, and have never heard of a "bad IP", my service provider is Optus. Has been for years now. Ive paid my internet bills etc (obviously). Also, i got a mate to log into my facebook, gave him the password etc, and it worked for him - no problems at all...so clearly its the "bad IP" part, not anything to do with my actual facebook account.

Also, all other websites work fine, ebay, ozcard trader, afew other forums, my emails, MSN etc all work

Any help would be great!

im not tryig to be a smart ass with this response i have just always wanted to do this ahaha. on another forum i go on for ps3 gaming people get me all the time with it.

Yeah i am trying afew things now...hoping they work. Really dont go on facebook alot, originally just worried as i thought my account was hacked into - but as it works on another computer im less worried lol

Im having issues with facebook tonight myself....its only showing about the last 30 minutes of updates on my wall and takes ages to load......every other site is fine?

I cant even log in

Ive restarted the computer, pulled my modem out of the wall, etc. But no luck as of yet. Im going to leave it alone, and hope its just a glitch

My internet is stuffing up tonight, it is pretty slow, so hoping its just my internet causing the issues.

It's possible that someone else that was using the IP got it blocked for bad behavior and because you likely have a dynamic IP you were at the time using the same IP that that guy/girl used when they got it banned; next time you connect you'll probably get a new IP.

100% correct. I can now get onto facebook.
