Hey guys telstra has decided to cap me nfi how I went over 10 gig.....so wont be posting until the 1st can barely load the page...hopefully I get some nice cards in before the 1st sep and can post them as 1 lot...I'll cyas all then.

Telstra are shocking, don't know why you'd use their broadband it's the most expensive in australia!
I still have my phone with them, if i wasn't such a lazy bastard i'd change it too!
Their CEO's an arrogant fool and Phil burgess is a buffoon.

Westnet want to charge us $160 cos we moved house, told them to f.. off, IInet ADSL2 here I come!

Haha yeah..... I was with Telstra ADSL when there wasn't a whole lot of other choice around (with their infamous 3GB cap); left them as soon as my contract expired..... I tell ya... never again!!

I am with Telstra. I have had no problem. I rather pay for 24 hour phone support than have an ISP that can only be contacted during work hours and or email which is no help when your internet is down

I am capped to 64kbps atm and i have no problem loading this page adn shoes... go and change your plan you will find you can probably get faster speed capped at 12gb without changing the amount you pay

Some other ISP's do offer 24/7 phone support also..... I know Westnet do. Plus - Telstra may as well hire monkeys to do their tech support; I recall them being extremly unhelpful & unknowledgeable all the times I dealt with them & since moving to Internode I have found their support to be professional, friendly & knowledgeable - a far stretch to what I got from Telstra.

Ohhh man tell me somthing new.....im paying $140/mnt for adsl2 with T and usualy get capen within 2 weeks you know what gets me !! They call it unlimited..how can you call unlimited when you cap ppl @10 gig thats all i want to know !!! as far as i know unlimited means NO LIMIT ..FFS ..

Being in Lonnie AJ, it's a wonder you're not with InTas.

I'm with InTas (Internet Tasmania) they don't have anything faster than 1.5MB, but they're very good at what customers require (service, support, good plans, etc).

Yeah Telstra's customer service is notoriously bad, only beaten in that regard by dodo

Haha Dodo were Terrible to put it Nicely! we had dialup with them and it kept dropping out and when we FINALLY got thru too Customer "Service" they basically told us they did it on purpose coz they wanted people on broadband plans

so we told them to go f*** themselves and signed up with AAPT broadband and itspretty good

That's nasty Matty, they actually did that?

I had a dial up at my mother's place when we lived there, and the connections were that shitty they dropped out about 3-4 times an hour!

It was acutally the phone lines that were f-cked tho, not the ISP. But the lines were from.... ready.....TELSTRA!
