Speaking of Noble nameplates, ever since I layedmy hands on one of these, I was more and more impressed with this set that was released. I'm just a sucker for nametag patches, and the whole layout and sweet slick auto's have always sold me on this series:

Well, sort of, if you add the 1 and the 3 together, I thought it was super neat as i loved these guys when they balled together and "that dunk comp" was always my fav year, and the dunk contest was back as kenny proclaimed. ha ha ha

Oh, andthe various coloured jersey peices as well.

yes indeedy, i don't recommend cards often, but the whole series is just puurrtttyyy in everyway. Sweet and slick sigs, nice "name plate" fabric inthe cards and the foiling and feel of them all are great.

Yeah, not only his RC, but teh action shot just reminds me over and over again of his Dunk Comp antic's, which is why i love the card a lot.
Obtained a "small" side PC of the guy that I love.

Yeah, despite me only really wanting his Grizzlies stuff. But these were too sweet to pass up at the time and I'm glad I got them for teh collection. I love the guys style and what he does and brings to his teams that he plays for.

Indeed, Upperdeck, despite the issues that people harp on about. They do do a good at what they do and thats teh reason why they have stuck around for so long.

Yeah, with a bit of free time and lower cards coming in than previoulsy, thought i would do the extra time in doing the digi pics.

Thanks forthe nice comments. I just loved this series, and in many ways, I wish i saw the potential in this set alot sooner. right before teh cards alll dried up and hoarding collectors started stocking up on multiples. Still, would have been an impossible set to finish.

Yeah, i get nice comments on the pcis I take. I only do it for the odd special card or series (like this one). Otherwise it's too much of a pain, and it's just the scanner that gets a workout.
