Thought I'd go ahead and make on of these. This weekend coming could be the deciding fate to see which way the bombers are heading.
After losing to collingwood on Anzac day (again) we need to regroup. Essendon are doing well to stay in the 8, and are yet to regain the services of Jason Johnson, Campo, and would like to see Hille come back soon, and would love to see some games from Houli, Gumbelton and Hislop.
Considering Collingwood and the Dockers have chances to make the 8 from where they are, I don't see why Essendon can't keep their spot. Already matching last years 3 wins (well ok we need another draw to match 2006) i think we could end up in the top 6 easily. With some added speed, and strength around the grounds, Sheeds needs to find a gameplan that works and stick to it.
For us to keep winning, he needs to forget about deadwood like Bradley and Bolton (Thank christ henneman is gone, cos no doubt he woulda played anzac day with the two others just mentioned).
are you kidding mate, Kepler Bradley would have to be one of the worst footballers i have ever seen. And to think he was a #6 draft pick or something like that, must have all the don supporters fuming. Essendon this year did the best in the draft out of any team in my opinion though, so its not all bad news. But its player like Bolton, Bradley, Johns, Dyson that are killing Essendon, im sure white choclate would love to see Hislop, Houli and #2pick Gumbelton play instead of the crap mentioned above.
yes.. we have better talent than those 2, yet we play spuds like bolton/bradley.. i dont mind dyson, he has things to offer, and winderlich is well and truely missed considering his blistering form/pace shown the early rounds..
bolton should of been gone years ago, lets hope sheedy sends him to bendigo for a very long rest...put some of the youngs guys in as mentioned above.and we might go places hopefully
yes bolton was meant to be traded to carlton for campo, but rejected to be sent there, so here he is, still on our list... look how long it took to rid of henneman..

I always saw today as a test... Essendon have psychologically had us for years.... if we play this out and turn it into a drubbing like we should thats good progress.

We had only won the last three by slim margins, when perhaps we should have won by more.... today was a more polished performance... and I hope this run of wins over Essendon continues
