i dont know if i should be happy for you or not hahahahaFound some Traders in Perth.
Sensational.
have you still got any love for the muppetsOk collectors, here is another issue. putting all my cards away in the album I started with the base set off course. Sorted the first 5 team sets and put them in then counted pages forward until I got to where I would start the parallels and put those in also in order.
Got around to starting my want list on the website and I found the checklist numbering does not match with the printed cards in the parallel set. Just another issue to seal the deal I suppose...............
Haha, I've been following this thread and the growing discontent. Very unfortunate for dealers and those misinformed on things like ratios and numbering before ordering product. For me, happy to be able to pick up the odd couple of packs from my local newsagent and have a chance at a sig.i dont know if i should be happy for you or not hahahaha
what did your mate terry have to say about the train wreckI have just got an email from Terry at ESP as they have released a revised checklist as a PDF document. I will upload that doc to my website in the resources area for anyone to grab if they want it.
Dave
who are you kiddingAgreed, that is one way to send the message to ESP for sure, the other way is to engage with them and offer constructive points of view on their product. Any business and I don't care who it is will dismiss destructive and negative comments such as those offered by a few recent members to these forums.
I would rather be part of the solution not the problem. The other day I emailed ESP and gave them a scathing review on certain aspects of their release, everything from designs that, IMHO, worked and didn't work and yes image choice was one of those points. I commented on packaging and thought the vertical packaging of cards could and may have contributed to damages. I offered a two page review on what worked and what didn't, from a collectors point of view; and used some thoughts and comments that had been discussed in these forums.
Not a day and a half later after mine and other collectors comments were acknowledged, we see the checklist fixed and sent to one and all; so companies do listen if the message is clear enough to be heard.
So if you want to help fix the problems then let yourself be heard, write to the company explain what worked and what didn't but do it tactfully and I think we will be surprised what may come back to us, the collector, in terms of quality. But if all you want to do is product bash then just shut up and don't buy the product, or better yet, go back to Select's product and collect AFL.
they wont last the year idiotsRight now after this current series i will wait until they hit the shops and order any cases of cards again.I really hope that anyone who has damaged cards that its only one or 2 in a box i could live with but i opened 4 boxes and i stoped counting at 120 card damaged.
I might as well just order the cards i need off other ebay sellers to get signed,i do hope that Esp and Ikon can come back and do something as my whole case was sent back at Esp request at my cost. Not one card was kepted out of the case what was in the case was sent back.
Just spotted this in the Johns Legends sig listing on eBay...
"NUMBER 1 AND 2 ARE KEPT BY ESP AND THE PLAYER KEEPS HIS NUMBER (7) - THAT LEAVES 6 SINGLE DIGIT NUMBERS AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC"
It now says ONLY 9 SINGLE DIGIT NUMBERS AVAILABLEAnyone get to the bottom of this one yet??
Hi All,
Trying to open a copy of the checklist and flier pdf that I have downloaded from web and change to a jpeg to use to advertise this product. It is a restricted document which requires a password and will not let me do so. Anyone know the password or how this works or even have a jpeg copy of this pdf. Find it funny that this is password protected. I would have thought they would have wanted as many people as possible to advertise there stuff in as many places as possible ( especially considering the issues they have been having so far ). Any help would be great.
Peter
