Finished the case I was opening, second sig was the Rabbits young gun. What is also unfortunate is out of the 5 cases opened today for Warren's stock or the case share cases all 5 case cards were damaged.............
I opened 3 cases for case shares. The first case had the case card taped to the top of the carboard protection for the boxes...it had crease damage to it. The next two case cards weren't taped and were just sitting loose on top of the boxes, neither of those two were damaged.
Lets not forget that the core intended customer base for this release IS the kids. This isn't meant as a set for serious hard core collectors, just because we choose to collect it does not mean we should be able to dictate what is in it.
If the second series is distributed along the same lines then I would take umbrage at their unwillingness to respond to the collectors wants and needs.
I don't think he is trying to defend the release as he has acknowledged all the issues so far. This is all we have at the moment and while they have made some crucial mistakes we can only hope they learn for series 2. The last thing we want is for NRL cards to go the way of the cricket cards where there are only periodic releases.
I agree they have f*cked up but I think tak has been one of their harshest critics. He has been passing on info he has received direct from ESP and has taken them at their word (probably never again!) which may appear as though he is siding with them but he has voiced his disappointment at every stage where they have not delivered on their promises.
I've also tried to stay optimistic about this release but the false info is hard to swallow. Had they been upfront and said what was what right from the start we would likely feel a bit differently
I agree bring back select for sure? What a joke this series is the worst thing for me is I can deal with a damaged common card but I can't deal with 20 or more in one box what a joke and even worse the inserts a damaged bad aswel that wil do me
