Well I am ever so happy to be so wrong about something. The Legends sigs are on a foil card but they are an actual on card auto and they are hand numbered 1/of whatever.
I'm confused again............... this signed Legend card is also a Case or folder card with a different team logo on the back than the player on the front?? Surely not.....
I remember hearing that ESP were all about pkt, box & case sales. If that is the case then it makes sense that ESP would not release ratio's until the day of release as that would negate the small businessman from offering single cards for pre-sale.
If that one player had not mentioned he had signed 200 young gun cards we could not have inferred the sigs would not be 1 a box and sellers offering sigs for pre-sale as if they were cheap TPs would get burned bad.

Owen its a great question to ask but I must admit I am hesitant to ask it. I think this issue is one that can take the relationship between a collector and a manufacturer's staff member a little too far by delving into their business practice.
If my very poor memory is correct, this came up (not in discussion with Terry at ESP) but in a discussion with an Ikon staffer on another matter.
Yeah i heard the same thing but it was very early on in the piece. I would have thought you go out of your way to help your smaller sellers (like Torana and Digeze). At the end of the day they are only delaying the inevitable by a couple weeks which seems silly. A little goodwill goes along way.
Also for guys like me that like to buy a case or two it makes it difficult for me to commit without that information. It actually makes me want to just get these on ebay after the prices settle down.
i think dave already answered this on pg12, heres what he wrote

I had a look at the Ikon Collectibles site to see if they had the sellsheet (yeah, I'm impatient). No luck there, but they were displaying the ratios....
Ratios:
Retirement Series - 1 per 72 packs (1 per 2 display boxes)
2012 Heritage Jersey - 1 per 9 packs (4 per display box)
2012 League Leaders - 1 per 18 packs (2 per display box)
2013 Top Prospects (signatures) - approx. 130 per player
NRL Premierships (13) - 1 per 36 packs
Immortals (2) - approx. 200 per player
