Unless you have very young kids who are genuinely interested in all things NRL, this set is a waste of time and money. There's plenty available in the Traders release to cover the kid's market. The only thing is that there are no signature cards or high end inserts that are likely to get trashed.
I reckon a sticker set would be more appropriate for the juniors market.

I went to a few newsagents. They had some left, but the cards are all creased - foil is cracked - either produced this way or the weight of the RLW bundles bent them out of shape and cracked them up.

Yeah, all the ones I saw in Wellington the cards were in a bad way - they are positioned right where the shops like to fold the magazine in half, so they were all pretty badly bent.
Does anyone have a pic of what the parallels looked like?
I'm no parallel fan as some may have picked up, but to have them out there but not out there is even worse!
They are actually really nice. I found a GI but it was folded and creased in half. Pity it's not in the set. Basically the common card in a foil finish like silver parallel in Traders. Bolder colours because the card is a full action shot.
