Ah, Friday and a special delivery from the postie! Two boxes from Dan's NRL Collectables - my first taste of Elite (am in NZ). A nice distraction from watching the Panthers get smashed.
Folder pack:
- Adam Reynolds Triple Threat
Box 1
Triple Threat: Justin Hodges, Jamie Lyon, Brett Morris, Benji Marshall.
Aus Reps: Darius Boyd, Nate Myles
F&F Silver: Souths
F&F Gold: Manly
Future Stars Sig: Jake Trbojevic (Manly) 52/105
League Sensation: Danny Buderus 008/130
Pretty happy with that.
Box 2
Triple Threat: Matt Bowen, Luke Walsh, SBW, Feleti Mateo
Aus Reps: Greg Inglis, Luke Lewis
F&F Silver: Panthers
F&F Gold: Broncos
Pretty stoked to pick up another F&F Gold in the 2nd to last pack, was expecting a dud box after striking it sweet first time out. And nice to get the Penny F&F sorted.
Keen to trade both the sigs and F&F Gold for the Panther ones.
Pretty solid set. I reckon the commons would have looked wicked if they 'game' backgrounds and not shades of grey. Parallels a waste of space again, but can at least recoup a few bucks on them, and not sold on the concept or quality of F&F - they don't seem to be cut as well as other cards. The sigs are sweet though and Triple Threat a fun idea. Pleased the base set also has stronger stats than Select managed.
Thanks for looking - hoping to bust some loose packs once I can find them in NZ shops.
