67 to 56 first place votes (52% of the votes) went to Budenholzer so it was close. I don't blame the voters for choosing him though when you consider that he turned the team around from 38 wins the previous season to 60 wins this season with largely the same personnel. Kerr also deserves it as a rookie coach for making history and coaching the best team in the NBA although he did inherit a 51 win team from Mark Jackson. Both would have been deserving.
He just got named MVP from reports on my facebook, imho he deserve's it simply because of his teams accolades. If it was purely on stats Harden deserve's it imo.
