Here's why you should start listing your items at 99c or below:
* It's FREE to list - up to 15 items per month**
* Only pay one easy final value fee - 7.9% capped at a maximum of $49.95 and you only pay if the item sells
* FREE gallery image - save 59c
I reckon it's great if you are unsure how thing will go on ebay plus good for any left over commons you just don't want hanging around. Especially good because no sale = no paying of fees. What do others think?
yep. 15 free items with a gallery pic is pretty good...
and ive found listing at .99c seems to get more people interested and willing to put a bid in...stuff still sells at a reasonable price.
still doesnt beat this great site for fees tho!
I think ebay was catering for bigger items in the past where you don't mind paying 30 cents to post because that represents a very small portion of the final sale price. But for us card collectors, the item is so cheap that most of the time it is either not sold or sold for the original listing price, which means the 30 cents mean so much more. So what ends up happening is that we won't even bother listing the small cards because chances are we will even make a loss. I think ebay has noticed the trend that people are wanting to list smaller items, but at the same time they don't want us to flood the site with a huge amount of auctions so they put the 15 items per month limit.
