Is this f-cked, or is it a legit email? I've been on Ebay, and there's no alerts....

Looks f-cked to me, they open it out "hello,"....

did it address you by your username? all ebay emails say

eBay sent this message to Mathew Smith (bball_mattyj).

only chances are yours would have your username and name...
 
We need to put something in the FAQ forum - if it's not in your Ebay Messages in My Ebay, then it's a scam.
 
i think that might be a fake email, if ebay send you an email it will usually address you by your name or username.
 
As with all suspect emails (whether they're legit or not), you should only ever type the address is the address bar, or open link from saved bookmarks. Never ever enter confidential information (passwords etc) in a link followd from an email (trusted or otherwise). Better to be safe an open from a safe link (type the address or used saved bookmark).
