ebay unpaid item strike

Are these visible to sellers/buyers?
I received one today (its a long story so wont get into it just now) and im just worried it'll show up every time i bid on something or win and don't want it to ruin my 100% positive rep.

I'll be able to have it removed due to the circumstances in which i got it but if it doesn't show up im not going to bother going through the whole head f#&k of talking to paypal.
 
haha unlikely unless another seller doesn't respond to my messages then files a non payment claim when i've stated payment would be made as soon as i received an invoice with express shipping instead of regular postage. Stupid sellers suck!
 
Yeah appeal it, especially if you requested the invoice multiple times - do you have copies of them? And it's also ebay you need to talk to not paypal. Apparently you get 3 then you might be suspended.
 
Turns out this may have been a blessing in disguise. I asked a US member to make an offer on the card and i got it for $100 less then my original offer :D

Told ya... and you should totally appeal the strike.
Plus can't you leave him a negative for doing so..?
 
If you sent those emails through the ebay messages, you should email ebay to look into it and reverse it. this has never happened to me, but doesnt ebay give you warning emails to explain yourself before they do drastic things like unpaid strikes?
