Ebay shill bidding & terrible members - post a call out or warn others

Does anyone know if this is a consigner?

If so - it would seem the card owners are bidding on their own cards.

You also would typically see 10 bids on a real auction - some of these auctions have 65 bids.

You've got one bidder buying marvel, soccer and nBA. you would also think that 152/152 bids in the last 30 days would lead to an increase in feedback wouldn't you? when you are frantically bidding and trying to win stuff - you get feedback. 4, 6 and 7 feedbackers are the culprits here. 0 too - trying to win logomen. Nope, I don't believe you.

It's the case with just about every Chinese seller on eBay!

Wouldn't surprise me if they have a network that help each other in doing this as some cards get relisted on different accounts.

Same issue with a lot of the big consignors in the US and even Australia, but it does appear the practices of these Chinese sellers are most blatant.

It’s so obvious I can’t believe eBay do nothing about it. They don’t make any money unless someone pays for the auction and they get their fee cut unless I’m missing anything - they should see my report, see the item relished and get the idea of all this BS going on

Yeah I have no idea how they get away with it either. As you pointed out, it's so obvious !

I'd say it'd take a combination of a lot of complaints and for the shill bidding to happen on a even bigger scale, like PWCC levels for something to be done about it.

I haven't looked closely (and can't even remember the user name as I just ignore all their listings) but there is one Chinese seller who has an excessive quantity of low serial number Panini Olajuwon cards. Almost every auction also seems to get relisted.

I can't imagine the cards are legit, let alone the auction bidding practices...

Literally every auction from every big Chinese seller / consignor is shilled. Tull is part of the central nucleus that seems to relist the same cards over and over and over, before they shift to another one of these sellers doing the same.

That said, I've won a few auctions from these sellers with a bid I was happy paying, and never had any problems with the cards themselves or delivery.

Unless it's something I reallllllly want, I generally just avoid these Chinese consignors now.

Tull and Murzond on ebay are scum

So many nice cards but always shilled and then relisted back on Cardhobby.

Price goes almost 80%.over the comp. Then relisted.

I don't trust Pence on Cardhobby either. But I guess they are just like PWCC in that you just never know for sure if it's shilled or not.

If PWCC was booted from ebay, surely Tull and Murzond will be too.
