Has Para got a side in AFL
Yep. The cards were just a gimic to get kids hooked on gum.Did packs from that Era 63/64 have the gum inside them.
I was talking to a bloke that some people would know. He has a box of each 63 and 64 and I asked him what he would sell the 64 for and he said $60,000. I replied that was dear and he told me that there would be 5 sets in the box and all the wrappers just not sure how many cards are in a packet. Or packets in a box. Doing some research from a couple of people now. On the flip side impossible to tell how many cards would be bubble gum damaged in each packet this would depend on how many cards are in the packet and how hot this box has got for the gum to melt. Near Impossible to estimateAs a point of interest...
What's everyone's opinion on what a sealed box of 63 & 64
Nrl scanlens Is worth?
not to my knowledgeI have never seen a set of 1965 scanlens did the produce one that year?
scan of 1 of my near mint set all except for 2 are just like this if not betterscan of 63/64?
show's us please
That is the second time that I have handle that card all cards are in penny sleeves and in the 3 hard plastic framed screw down cases. the ones with 8 phillips head screws in them. The marks you see are the plastic cases and not creases in the cards. Thanks for the scan if i had a set i would be to scared to handle them.

Gum may not necessarily stain the card. I've boxes of cards that aren't as old as 60's but even after 25 years they have NO gum stains. It really depends if they have some powdery stuff on the gum.I think you would find top and bottom card damaged. Top from gum and the bottom from the wax seal.
Believe me he is real but I will not mention who he is for personal privacy. As I would also not liked to be named untill I was ready to sell.I mentioned in a post a while back about everyone's mate Steve from Fairfield markets saying the same thing about someone having sealed boxes with the same price tag. Who is this mystery person?

I am considering it want to chip in owenSee if you cant get some pictures of the boxes out of him. We dont necessarily need to know his name.
Yeah i have busted some vintage 70's stuff over the past 12 months and thats what i have found. I guess we wont know until someone stumps up $60K and busts some packs.
Now where is Dr Grange..........
He probably tried to swap him some Tazo's for them.
