EBay Seller of the Month

The $25 postage alone is more than I would pay for the card...........

I sent a message to the seller explaining that aside from being 'signed' this Dynamic set set was the highest produced set ever and in response the seller appreciated my message!...............

I would be interested to know what you thought of the final price for all those 63's & 64's, Moz.
Gday Steve I know that the 63 are hard to find than the 64. The 63 he sold are close to what you would want to pay for the condition that they were in. If you have a good close look the cnrs are damaged and most are slightly creased. They are in good condition for there age some excellent but what gets me when He users the term near mint to freely. A mint card does not have slight cnr damage or paper creases. I know him and have purchased there before but have never brought a 63 or 64 scanlens from him for that simple they are never mint. Most of the time it is the same player he sells as well. I have been watching his cards for 7yrs now. I have nothing against him he has always delivered on time and is a good seller. I think some of the 64 were cheap but that is what they sold for on the day, you can never aurgue with the market. It all comes down now to Les Johns near mint 64 scanlens card sold for $250 ear marked in somebodys statics list that sets the price for mint scanlens. This card is creased in the top left cnr and has rounded corners with the back of the cards moister damaged most of the way along the bottom of it. Is a far cry from a near mint card but could be recorded as a sold mint card, by someone with the lack of knowledge of grading and not studying the picture and publishing a average price giude of mint cards.

^^Adoniis is a bit loose with his 'grading' definitions (been stung before) but i thought those cards were about their money.

Do mint even exist of 63 or 64? I doubt it - the cardboard used was terrible.

Thanks for that Moz.

I actually thought that they may go fo a lot more as it is very rare to see any for sale on ebay so i was a bit surpised at the final prices and yeah i know what you are saying in regards to Adonis as i have bought from him also over the years and he normally has real Mint cards on offer so i do agree that he may have graded these a bit high, though as i said i thought the prices were probably unders as i think the market has softened at the moment!

I do have set of 64 that I would class as near mint Except for 2 which are excellent . I am sure Steve has viewed them at a card show but did not go over them with magnifying glass. They are bright and shiny highly full of colour blue, lemon and pink very hard to find with crisp sharp corners. Adonis saw them and the owner said he,s eyes nearly popped out of his head. He also said he was not prepared to pay the going rate for them. I payed a good $ for them as I have never seen them like this before

I am pretty sure that Steve could vouch for this

Yeah but if you send them to a grader they would not be classed 10/10. Im not bagging your cards, im sure they are great specimens, my point more was if i saw cards with perfect corners, perfect white centred borders and the cardboard was a little fresh looking my first instinct would be to call them restored. Pretty easy to trim those cards up unfortunately. Have seen a couple examples of it.
