It's real, i think this is one way that Billy makes a bit of money, must remember the older players didn't really make much money back in the day and the ones that did probably spent it all at the pub, my neighbour played for Newtown lower grades, he knew alot of the Souths and Saints greats, they loved to party ALOT, he reckons majority of them spent any money they made, some had a business sense and did well but majority drank it away..

I did know billy was like that. I not blaming him for making a couple of bucks off his sig as they got nothing for playing the game. But to tell others players not to sign for a collector is double standards. Shame on you billy

Billy Smith had a book out a few years ago and he was signing copies at a game at Kogarah.
I went over to get one signed for my Dad and he insisted on signing my jersey also - it was a massive signature too. Fair chance he'd had a few beers at the club beforehand
