Mark, on 1 side you may have a rugby league player and on the other side you may have a boxer/golf player/ rifleman/greyhound/vfl player etc.
And if you turn it from 1 side flipping it 90 degrees the sporting personality should be standing up or they should be a panoramic view if a greyhound, rifleman etc.
There are 100 different cards, there may be many different combinations of pictures, I have 5 McMillan cards all with different pictures on the reverse side.
I hope that clears some confusion.

Of course and probably not white cardboard like that either. I have seen more originals cut straighter than them. It is as if they are cut crooked on purpose to look old

Mark, I have about 300 hundred of these cards, not 1 of them are cut like those, as previously said, look like they have been cut and the borders are too big, my opinion and strongly said, they are reproduced ones.
Go to any antique shop and ask for old cigarette cards if they have any, not one of them would have perfect corners. They are similar thickness to the 63-64 scanlens cards as well.

I still can't see anything wrong with the embossed numbering, it is identical. I overlaid the images of the two cards, mucking around with the opacity and the gold embossed numbering lines up perfectly it is to close to call different. You can see double outlines of the emblems but the numbering merges into one. Hard to see but here's an image.

What you do notice is the alleged fake is stamped a little higher on the card than the card being put forward as real. The numbering just above the Select Australia trade mark print is what mine look like.

Thats wrong there 2013 not 2003 and someone told me that there Daves also he had them on here as his own cards and now there selling here dave got told not to sell i bought souths off pete last week

That does not seem right to me I think this seller has lost some credibility profiteering on these, well with me at least.

A wealth of knowledge, And has done more for us than most here combined.
(Although you probably don't bother to realise)
He's not dressing mutton up as lamb, The listing is quite clear....
He's selling something that he owns (Nothing illegal there?) - How do you know he makes a profit?
He may have made a typo, It's common knowledge the cards are manufactured at the same place as the
2003 RL Cardz. I'd suggest this small confusion does not lessen his credibility an iota...

totally agree with everything you said Rob, some people out there do not really look at who is who, we all make typos typos typos every now and thennnn.

Hey Robbie,

Sorry mate, I certainly wasn't attacking the individual I was more commenting on the morals of these cards being available for sale. From what I know, and that is very little as you point out, pclarke is someone who you can buy from with absolute confidence, he sells lots of these more offbeat collectibles such as bootlegs like RL Cardz (so many you would have to assume he knows the manufacturer well), stickers, magazines, club releases and maggi cards etc and I've bought of him myself. It is reasonable to assume he may not know who the rightful owner is and reasonable to assume the person supplying them to him isn't telling him any background as they are just bootleg cards being sold anyway.

Unfortunately common knowledge is not that common because I certainly didn't know theses were printed at the same place RL Cardz printed their 2003 bootlegs, where is it? In fact I thought the RL Cardz were done in the UK partly to avoid licensing issues etc so I am not sure where that common knowledge came from. I suppose if you deal with the people supplying and printing them then it would be common knowledge.

I suppose my point is, as I understand it, these cards like the 5 Star set were never distributed for resale by the owner / designer so somewhere someone has lost a lot of integrity by breaking that understanding and making them public, by the looks even printing them without permission and hence profiteering. Let's be honest who sells at a loss?
