Ebay removed my listing!!!

I had my 1/1 Wade luxury box trinity jersey with Hinrich and Terry and I included another Trinity GU of Wade that is #/250. It was removed by ebay today. Has anyone had this happened to them? I am really confused with their policy.

This is their reason for removing it: "Listing titles that do not accurately describe the item are not permitted." They said its a misleading title.

Here's the exact title I used "Wade/Hinrich/Terry 1/1 & Wade/Gordon/Allen /250 Jersey" Can anyone see anything wrong with this?

And because of this title I got this warning: "If you relist this, or any other item that violates eBay policy, your eBay privileges could be suspended. We value you as a member of our community and wish to continue this relationship, so we must ask you to refrain from further violations of the User Agreement and eBay policy."

Well, I assumed that someone had reported it. Maybe someone searching for Gordon 1/1 or Allen 1/1 but is it worth reporting to ebay and get someone's auction cancelled?

I could not really understand that I misled anyone with the title. Please let me know if anyone had this happened to them and what you did about it....

send ebay a big scan of both cards and tell them that u are selling 2 version of the item 1 is the #250 version and the other is the true 1/1 version. ebay probably think u were using the 1/1 just to promote the item.

thats stupid , the only thing is maybe ebay thinks there maybe some1 dumb enough 2 buy thinkin that allen or gordon was the 1 of 1

I emalied them and asked to explain how the title misled anyone. So I will just wait and see what they'll say.

i think you will find that someone report you to ebay for the listing title (not that i can see any problem with it) and cause ebay are so dumb they wont even look in to it correctly and just remove the item. The person that reported it to ebay may have a similar item listing as you have and may see you as competion, which means with your item out the way they will get more for their item. I have read about similar complaints on a site called "notgoodenough.com.au"

Look at the title I used for my Ager 10 card lot... "ULTIMATE EXQUISITE".... Not ONE is an Ultimate, or Exquisite...

So you are one of those who are listing with the word "Exquisite lot" but when you look into it, there is no single exquisite card in the lot! I better start watching your listing and report it to ebay.

Here's the first response that I got from Ebay.

WHY YOUR LISTING WAS ENDED:

After looking into the situation in detail, I've noticed that your item
was taken off by eBay under our Misleading Title Policy. This policy
states that Sellers are not permitted to create titles for their
listings that do not accurately describe the item for sale. For a more
detailed explaination regarding our Misleading Titles policy, please
refer to this link:

In other words, your title, "Wade/Hinrich/Terry 1/1 & Wade/Gordon/Allen
/250 Jersey"", is not the actual title of the item you are selling and

appropriate title for your item can be:

"2 Triple WU cards of Dwyane Wade"

Or something to that fashion. Anyway, should you come across such items,
please report them to us for further review. Our actions may include
issuing a warning, temporary suspension, ending a or all listings early,

Could anyone please give me an opinion on how to reply on this? I am still confused with their reason. I dont know how the title I used is not the actual title of the items I was selling...

Perhaps it was something to do with the listing you had, rather than the title???

Dunno, it looked good to me tho, perhaps someone was being a prat, and reported it???

Can you tell me why my title is not the actual title? Isn't it a very good title for people to find the card that they want. Dont you guys advise us how important the title is? Didnt I put the 2 cards I was selling on the title properly? I value Ebay these days and spend most of my 8 hrs / day in the past 2 years on your website and because someone has reported it you will just end it just like that without investigating properly. Where is your FAIR Trading? I always pay my bills on time...

And all you can tell me is that the Title I used is not the actual title of the item I am selling. If I just say "2 Triple WU cards of Dwyane Wade" like you advise, Do you think buyers searching for Rare Dwyane Wade cards will bother looking at it? I just wanted you guys to give me a Fair Go. I see alot of bad titles around and this one I used is no way going to confuse anyone searching for a rare card. Unless the member that reported it is a competitor seller or someone he knows then he should be investigated as welll.

If I start reporting to you everything I see that has a dodgy title, would you pay the time I will spend on it? I can spend 8 hrs a day finding this dodgy Titles and I would like to see them cancelled as well.

Please know that one of the primary purposes of eBay's keyword spamming and misleading titles guidelines is to make sure that our buyers have an efficient search engine to help find the specific items they are wanting to purchase. We understand your desire to promote your items as effectively as possible, however we feel that bidders will be more likely to continue shopping on eBay if they are not presented with scores of listings that are unrelated to the item they are looking for on the site.

Having said that, you are permitted to relist your item with a more clearly descriptive listing title. You may also want to include the word 'Card' or 'Trading Card' (whatever you feel is appropriate in your case) so that our members will know exactly what they are bidding on.

I did list the cards in the trading cards category so I dont see a need to include "cards or trading cards" on the description plus there's no more space for anymore word in the title area. And in the description it was clearly said that the bidder will get both cards. I also included 2 pics, front and back to show the serial nos. I just cant believe I misled anyone. I guess thats where my frustration is coming from and not for the card being unsold. That Wade 1/1 will still get good money no matter And I got my listing fees back (someone did asked this before)...

I don't think they can accept their mistake here. They didnt even mention how I confused anyone on their last reply. I guess they couldnt find anything confusing after looking at it properly this time.

Yeah, I dont think they will have a template for screw-ups!!!

This was only the 2nd time I've wrote to them about something.

The first one is when they warned me about a 50 cents extra I put in my description if people chose to pay me by paypal. This was over a year ago when I started selling with paypal payments. Then they advice me to increase my postage from $2 to $2.50 or $3 instead. That way I wont be mentioning it on the description that ebay is triple charging sellers: 1st for listing, 2nd for Final Value Fee and 3rd for Paypal fee... This is also one reason why sellers overcharge on postage.
