Ebay Problems

Hey all
just need some advice as ive never had a problem like this before.
Alright so i won a couple of gamecube games on ebay last thursday the 18th paid the next day via bank deposit. This week i was wondering when the seller was going to was going to mark the payment as received. By Wed still nothing so i contacted the seller now its friday still no contact back and the seller has changed there profile to private. So what should i do next? should i file a Item not received claim next week sometime? also if i do that what are the chances of geting my money back i dont wanna loose 100 bucks damnit!

Any help would rock!

Ryan,
I would try to contact the seller again and if he doesnt reply over the weekend i would contact ebay.

Spot on Benny!

Contct Seller, wait a few days (over the weekend) if nothing by Sunday night, contact Ebay requesting no-response, refund.

Dunno where people stand with Direct Deposits, as there's no governing body like PayPal who can issue refunds from their account.

You Need To Try And Get The Seller's Attention,without To Many Threats And Ask Him If He Has Received Payment And If He Has, When He Will Ship The Items.
If You Go Through Ebay Already To Try And Get Your Money Back,ebay Will Take A $25 Fee To Recover Your Money And It Will Take Between 2-6 Months To Get It Back.
I Would Suggest Email Once A Day Till Next Wed/thurs,if No Response By Then,i Would Send Him An Ultimatum That If You Receive No Response ,then You Will Be Filing An Unreceived Item Through Ebay On Friday.

What is wrong with some ebayers? It must be something funny goin on...

It either sellers who dont do the right thing by the buyer (not giving feedback when payment has been recieved and posting asap, or telling the buyer when the item will be posted)..

Or it's buyers who dont reply to emails, and leave it really late to pay, and then their payment has gone 'missing' or something else..

Sooner or later ebay will probably get shut down. There was already a thing on ACA about non-sending sellers (it is buyer beware though!), who sold laptops at a great price... which is pretty far fetched.

Oh, and I want to know why sellers get basically double charged for selling at item? You pay your fee to list an item, then if it sells, you pay a % on that! How wrong :S I sold a pair of Docs for my friend across the road for $77 with postage. I paid $0.95 to insert it, and $5.13 % fee for the sale. Grr @ ebay sometimes

I dont think i would wait that long....It has already been 8 days and by the end of the weekend it would have been 10.

Maybe if he deosnt reply to your "polite" requests by the weekend then send him the ultimatum on Monday!!

Thats what i would do anyway!

P.S- Does anyone else find Justin messages hard to read with everyword starting with a capital???

Yeah I Find A Capital At The Start Of Each Word A Little Annoying, But I Can At Least Read What He Is Typing. I'm Just Glad It's Not All Caps!!

There is a way to register a complain on ebay about items not received - also you can request the other parties details (address/phone number etc) if its regards to a deal that you have.

Search Ebays Help function - it is actually very ... well .. helpful.

Thenx for all the help guys ill send another email to the guy today. Its bloody typical that this happens the time i spend the most money i ever have on ebay! I wouldnt be so worried if he didnt change he's profile to private. Grrr! i realy wanted those games too

Well i have been ripped off damnit. The ebay user deregisted after i filed my complaint GRRR! im going to loose 50 bucks too because it was 2 seperate auctions and you cant claim them together. Im so pissed off at the dishonesty of the world

Have you request the user info (Phone number ect)

I always find when you ring them up it seems to advance the cause

nah i didnt do that, problem is i dont think this person actualy had the items they were selling it was all just a big scam because about a week after my auction finished they got about 10 negative feedback. Also can you get the phone number & so on of a unregisted user? Im not even sure how to request that infomation. Anyways my money is gone now pity tho i could have bought a decent box of cards insted
